Opening of AI hub Berlin
With the opening of the physical AI hub in October, Berlin has gained a powerful tool in making its AI excellence more visible. The hub is implemented by Berlin Partner for Business and Technology and supported by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. As part of the opening, the AI Berlin Showroom powered by IHK Berlin was presented.
Located at Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), the hub provides guidance and support for Berlin’s AI ecosystem. The goal is to establish a future-ready structure that strengthens Berlin's AI landscape over the long term. More information here.
The BBO was on the move this quarter representing Berlin's diverse economic landscape at events like NYC Summit, Climate Week NYC, RALLY in Indianapolis, Defense TechConnect Innovation Summit & Expo in National Harbor, MD, and The AI Summit New York.
The BBO was invited to speak at RALLY 2025 in Indianapolis, a cross-sector innovation event in HardTech, Healthcare, Software, SportsTech, and Entrepreneurship. During the "Global Innovation Ecosystems: Lessons from Berlin, Singapore & Rwanda" panel, we showcased Berlin's strong startup scene, rich science landscape, and access to talent. The BBO hosted the event "Berlin x Boston: Pioneering Human Longevity Together" in cooperation withLife Sciences Tech Network (LSTN), Biomarkers of Aging Consortium, Longevity Global, the German-American Business Council of Boston, and Aethos in Boston. The goal of the event was to help catalyze discussion, collaboration, capital, and partnerships between Berlin and Boston in the sectors of life sciences, AI, and longevity. More information here.
NFL Goes Berlin
Berlin welcomed the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons to the Olympic Stadium for its first international game of American Football on November 9, 2025. In celebration of the game, fans flocked to the German capital to watch, as well as engage in team pubs, fan zones, raffles, meet-and-greets, etc. More information here.
