Berliner Slang of the Quarter! 🍻
- Out and about exploring Berlin (night)life?
- Don't forget to grab a Wegbier.
Wegbier ("beer on-the-go") is the term for a beer drunk on the go, in most cases, on the way to a party. You can see both early morning commuters and night owls with a Wegbier in hand, enjoying this cherished element of Berlin's social and legal freedom of movement (drinking in public is legal in Germany). Buying a Wegbier before heading to a party is often a great way to get the party started and have a few cheap drinks before entering the club.
