Berliner Slang of the Quarter! 🍐

        - Du hast nur Quatsch in der Birne!

(Literal translation: You have only nonsense in      your head! Figurative: You're full of crap!)

        Meaning: Head

In standard German, Birne means “pear”. But in Berlin, along with its formal meaning, Birne also refers to the head. The standard German equivalent for Birne is Kopf.
